In this course, an international investigation technique will be made available, looking for causal links and tools to be used for excellence in resolving accidents. The course will offer participants, in a practical, theoretical and objective way, a very effective tool in the analysis of occupational accidents and their causes, optimizing the way of approach, investigation in addition to the application of control measures. TABLE 1) Introduction: a) The Health and Safety Programs of companies and the investigation of occupational accidents; b) The accident phenomenon and causal concepts. 2) The ADC Method: a) Requirements for the application: mastery and precision of language; distinction between facts, objectives, opinions, comments and judgments; b) Theoretical foundations; concepts and categories of analysis.3) The stages of application of the ADC Method; a) Collection, organization and classification of information related to accidents at work; b) Construction of the tree: establishment of logical relations between facts and their graphic representations; c) Reading and interpreting the tree; d) Prevention measures: identification, selection, implementation and monitoring.
